Visa Application
In order for MLC to process your visa application with the Malaysian Immigration Department, please provide the following
Copy of your passport (all pages in color; must be valid for at least 18 months from the expected date of entry and must not contain information of any dependent(s)/family members)
A clear Passport Sized Photo with a WHITE background, in JPG format
A Pre-Screening Medical Report, including a Lab Report and Chest X-Ray. Note: A Yellow Fever Vaccination card is required if you come from, or transit more than 12 hours in, any high-risk transmission country (Africa, Central America, South America)
A copy of Proof of Application Fee Payment – RM500

Please send these documents electronically to [email protected]. Once all the above requirements are met, MLC will apply for your Student Visa. The visa application process takes up to 60 days if there are no irregularities

Visa Application – Approved
: Congratulations, your visa has been approved! Follow these steps
Download the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) from the EMGS website
Take the VAL to the Malaysian Embassy in your country to get a Single Entry VISA (SEV). Refer to a Malaysian Representative Office in your home country for visa requirements before entering Malaysia
Inform us of your expected arrival date by sending a copy of your flight ticket showing the date, time, and entry port at least a week before arrival
Book a flight ticket with an arrival time between 9.00 a.m and 5.00 p.m Malaysia time
Bring along 4 passport-sized photos
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months
Obtain the SEV if you are from a visa-required country with a Malaysian Representative Office. Once your SEV is issued, you will be able to enter Malaysia
Upon arrival, show the printed VAL and your student offer letter at the immigration checkpoint. A special pass will be issued to refer you to the respective State Immigration Department for the issuance of a student pass

You should not pass the airport immigration counter before meeting a representative from MLC at the immigration checkpoint

Once these steps are completed, your application is complete, and you may track your visa processing status on the EMGS website
